Aspirin, full chemical name acetylsalicylic acid, is a well known pain killer, anti-inflammatory and temperature reducing drug (for fever). It is available all over the world and is extremely cheap. It also thins the blood and can be of benefit to those who have suffered heart attacks.
Aspirin will remove perspiration stains from clothing. A couple of tablets dissolved in hot water and used as a soak will remove all traces of stain and stale smell in about two hours.
Aspirin is also good for treating spots, pimples and mild skin infections. It reduces inflammation. Take an aspirin, grind into powder between two spoons, mix with a little water to make a paste. If this is applied to red spots, etc. at night, the area will look less red in the morning. Perfect for those special occasions when you suddenly realize that you are going to have a big red spot on your face in the morning. Mosquito bites and bee stings can be treated the same way. (Be careful with bee stings in case you have an allergic reaction to them, see a doctor before treating if this is the case.)
